Brenden Barkate ’10 Contributing writer

Brenden Barkate ’10 played receiver for the Bulldog football team for four years. After graduating from the University with his degree in financial economics and accounting, he joined the team at Exclusive Insurance Brokerage and has become one of the most preeminent case design consultants in the country. In 2015, Barkate was recognized nationally as Life Health Pro’s “Top 30 Under 30” among his peers in the life insurance industry. He resides in San Diego with his wife, Amy; son, Harvey; and daughter, Winnie.
