Public Safety would like to advise the campus community of an incident on the Redlands main campus.
On Tuesday evening, February 6, 2024, Public Safety received a report from a student who saw someone attempting to open her bathroom window. The student called Public Safety to report the incident. Officers arrived immediately and saw an unidentified male standing on the north/south greenbelt, located on the west side of the apartment complex. Officers pursued the suspect, who jumped the west fence leading to the soccer complex. Redlands Police arrived to assist but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a male adult wearing a baseball cap, gray undershirt, black hoodie, and black pants.
Public safety increased patrols of the area and will continue, in collaboration with the Redlands Police Department, to increase monitoring of the area and the campus.
