Jillian Strong (she/her/hers) serves as the Assistant Director of Student Involvement and Success in the office of Student Involvement and Success (SIS). Jillian's role includes overseeing Student Government and Social Affairs on campus, in addition to supporting Student Organizations, Clubs, and Greek Life. Prior to joining SIS, Jillian was an academic advisor in the School of Education for students in Leadership and Higher Education and School Counseling, and the co-advisor to the Graduate Student Association. Jillian's interests and advocacy revolve around leadership development, disability advocacy, and pop culture influence in higher education.
Jillian has also been an active member of the professional organization, NASPA since 2018, and has presented at conferences, been a part of many conference committees, and is on the leadership team for the Womxn in Student Affairs Knowledge Committee.
Jillian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chapman University and a Master of Arts in Education: Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Redlands.
When Jillian is not on campus, you can find her watching tv or movies, reading daily horoscopes, listening to music, or saying hi to dogs.
