These scholarship opportunities can be highly rewarding but also highly competitive. Successful applications require advance planning. Allow time to get feedback on your personal statements and drafts, and to revise accordingly. Many fellowships also require letters of recommendation so be mindful and give your recommenders ample time to write a strong letter of support.
