Transdisciplinary Educational And Multicultural/Multilingual Approaches for Teaching Elementary Students - Language and Literacy
A unique new interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary training program for MMSN and CDIS students, funded by the US Department of Education - Office of Special Education Programs.
Participants will receive scholarships to support the completion of either the:

Project TEAMMATES-LL scholars enrolled in either program will receive specialized training in implementing scientifically based and culturally responsive language and literacy assessments and interventions with children in local elementary schools, with an emphasis on family and community engagement.
If you are interested in the TEAMMATES-LL scholarship opportunity, you must apply to either the MALT-MMSN (EDSP) program, January 2024 or January 2026 start date, or the MS-CDIS program, August 2023 or August 2025 start date, and then you will be invited to apply for the TEAMMATES-LL project.
NOTE: We are currently accepting TEAMMATES-LL applications for MALT-MMSN (EDSP) program candidates who will begin in January 2024. Please email us for an application. We will begin the next round of applications to TEAMMATES-LL for MS-CDIS candidates in January 2025.
