Program Learning Outcomes - Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies

Bachelor of Arts

  1. WGS majors describe how the construction of knowledge historically
    marginalizes women.

  2. WGS students weigh relationships of power related to race, class, gender,
    ethnicity and sexuality in an interdisciplinary context.

  3. Graduating WGS students examine key women’s, gender, and sexuality
    studies concepts in some form of oral presentation or performance.

4. Graduating WGS majors design and complete a research project that 
    analyzes a specific women’s, gender, and sexuality studies topic.
